Change starts with you….

Every day brings with it a new Sun, but it also seems to bring some of the same old stories. Someone once said, “There is nothing new under the Sun.” Is this true? Is this as good as it gets? When you  turn on the TV…CNN (Constant Negative News) it feeds the idea that the world will always be a dangerous, and sad place to live. It is true that the same sad stories show up day after day. But there is still hope, because it’s not over. How can I say there’s still hope? I can say that because I choose to be the hope I seek. I choose to take on the attitude of hope. What is hope? There is an important definition of the word hope  “tequmah” from Hebrew meaning—the power to stand. This power comes from the expectation that things are going to change. That change starts with you. I ask you today to think about hope. Get yourself to expect a great day. Focus on what you can do to create a great day. Plan on it, and expect great results. If you believe it, expect it…do something different and you will see new results.

The choice is yours…

This is a good time to remind all those who are following Darin Sanders Inspires that success is guaranteed when failure is not an option. Failure is not messing up; failure is giving up. As long as you don’t give up, success is still within your reach. Success and failure are choices. Both are choices you make every day.

You make this choice wether you know it or not. If these are daily choices, it means that success is a lifestyle-not an achievement. Achievements come and go, but a successful lifestyle leaves a legacy that impacts the world forever. What will you choose today? The way you will know your choice is by your thoughts and actions. When you are being successful, what do you think about? When you are living successfully, how do you act throughout the day? It’s up to you…the choice is yours.

This is NOT as good as it gets!

This statement is only true if you make it true. How do you make it true? Great question! There are two approaches available to you.  Let’s focus on one for now…identify at least one area in your life where you sore. What’s something you enjoy doing, and you are good at doing. How does it feel when you fully give yourself to this activity? What impact does this activity have on you? What impact does it have on your family and friends? Now, what’s one thing you can do to make it better? In what way can you stretch yourself to reach the next level? Think outside the box. There is a least one thing you can find that would move you from good to great. What’s that one thing that could move you from just, “Okay” to “Wow!” Next, commit to reaching, and moving onwards and upwards. Do this for seven days. After seven days you will be amazed at the outcomes you will have created.

What goals do you have for yourself? What goals did you set at the beginning of the year? Remember this, in life you are either moving towards your goal or further away. There is no in-between. By the end of today you will have moved in one of these two directions. The choice is yours. If you are struggling with how to move towards, and not away from your goals—keep reading, and if not—keep reading.

While you have many goals, let’s focus on one of them for now. Choose a goal, it could be a goal to enhance your relationship, or find a relationship. You might have a goal to lose weight, or simply be healthier. Perhaps you have a goal to be more social, by going out and meeting new friends. Regardless, choose one.

Now for some brainstorming. Answer this question, “What specific actions and behaviors would you be demonstrating if you were actively living this goal? Write down whatever comes to mind. Keep writing. Don’t come up with a “right” answer. Just write what comes to mind. Now take a moment and reflect on the list in front of you. Circle the items that immediately spark your interest. Next, place a checkmark next to the circled items that you could feasibly do over the next seven days. Place a star next to no more than three checked items that will commit to doing over the next seven days. Finally, draw a smiley face next to the starred item you are going to do tomorrow. That’s where you begin!

How to change your life – Step four

Now that you have a great picture in your mind, and great feelings floating around in the pit of your stomach, it is time to move to step four, which is vocalizing. Vocalization is a critical step, because it is the bridge by which your thoughts and feelings cross into the material world. Sacred text reminds you that, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God…” What is word? Word is thought vibration-manifested thought that is measurable. These sound waves are the essence of creation, “In the beginning…God said let there be light and there was light.”

It is your speaking that ignites change in the material world. It is also said that, “The power of life and death are in the tongue.” If you keep your dream and vision to yourself it cannot live. Your job now is to tell somebody! Share your new belief. Find ways to bring it up at lunch, and at the dinner table. Have the guts to turn off the TV and have a vision session, and talk about what you see in your mind. Create conversations of new possibilities. Get people around you to start talking about what could be, if we believe. Be the spark of a new reality, for when you do, you will have become what you say, “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.

Don’t just create a great weekend, when you can create a great rest of your life!

How to change your life – Step Three

Now that you’ve cleared the way with forgiveness, you have a clean slate to start building. Let the fun begin! You can build whatever you want, your heart’s desire is the blueprint. The reason you can now trust your heart is because you have cleared it of all unwanted thoughts and feelings that get in the way of new construction.

With forgiveness as your foundation, the sacred text of the bible says, “God gives you the desires of your heart…” Here’s a good interpretation: there are times when God does not give you things, instead, God gives you desires, and then empowers you to create those desires, causing them to manifest in the material world. This requires a new system of belief. Believe that it is possible for you to create what’s in your heart and you will cause it to show up in your life. It takes a consistent focus on the success of your manifestation.

Remember, success is a way of life, not something to achieve. Successful people achieve things, but not all who achieve things are successful. When you get crystal clear about your desire, start picturing it as it would be in the material world. What does it look like? How does it feel? Think about how you would feel having manifested this reality. Focus your thoughts and feelings. You don’t have to know how the manifestation is going to happen. Just have the willingness to believe, see it in your mind, and feel it with your emotions. Do this for the next seven days.

I will send you step four tomorrow.
